Progressive Stamping does not just keep the pace; we set the pace! Progressive Stamping has assembled an experienced team, the right tools and leading technology to produce high quality, cost competitive, stamped products and engineered assemblies.

With over 56,000 square feet of manufacturing, tooling, warehousing and office space located in Royal Oak, Michigan, we were able to produce over 165 million pieces in 2004 with a defect rate of 1.65 Parts Per Million (PPM)!

Progressive has acquired and installed an impressive list of high quality, industry-leading equipment to meet a wide range of needs for stamped and assembled products.

We can produce your products on one of 15 presses from top manufacturers including Oak, Minster and Bliss. The sizes of our presses range from 60 to 200 tons with speeds up to 500 spm. Our equipment is professionally maintained by an experienced, full time maintenance staff on call 24 hours a day to ensure production schedules are met.

Progressive believes in using the right tool for the job. Our stamping equipment is supported by the right material handing equipment and feeding equipment to maximize productivity, ensure quality and lower the overall cost of your products. This consists of a mixture of coil cradles, double-reel uncoilers, gear feeds and servo-feeds to provide a wide range of capabilities.

Progressive utilizes automated and semi-automated assembly cells, including our patented PermaStac process, to optimize productivity while providing superior performance and quality all at competitive prices.

In addition to manufacturing your products, Progressive maintains a qualified, stable group of strategic suppliers that are fully certified to industry standards to provide world-class quality for processes such as:

Competitors have a difficult time keeping pace with the manufacturing improvements we have implemented over the last several years. These improvements are driven by the latest technology such as:

• Quick Die Change Presses/Work Cells-allows operators to run multiple presses concurrently. This equipment has reduced labor costs substantially while reducing setup time by approximately 80%!
  
• Double-Reel Uncoilers -have improved the hit-to-hit time associated with coil changes allowing our personnel to reduce the overall time associated with a coil change by 70%!
  
• State of the Art Vision Inspection Equipment-capable of accurately processing up to 600 pieces per minute. This technology provides significant productivity gains and cost savings giving our customers better value, responsiveness and quality.
  
• Enhanced Material Handling-recent equipment additions have reduced labor by 50% for some operations.
