Progressive Stamping Company began manufacturing automotive products in the early 1960's. Over the years, we have become known as a manufacturer of washers and shims and for the exceptional quality and services we provide to our customers. Progressive Stamping Company is a provider of Nut & Bolt Retainers to the O.E.M.'s and Tiers. As this skill has developed, Progressive Stamping has never sacrificed any of the quality or services that we are known to provide.

Our products are commonly found in seating, chassis, suspension and door applications within the automotive industry. Typically these products are used for anti-rotation in the assembly process. These products also have application in other industries such as appliance, heavy trucks, heavy equipment, construction and recreational vehicles.

Our assemblies are typically produced using stampings manufactured in-house combined with purchased components obtained domestically and internationally. Exceptional quality control procedures and the latest technology ensure all purchased, stamped and assembled products meet or exceed our customer’s quality standards.

The stamped components in our assemblies are typically manufactured from ferrous materials using high carbon and low carbon steel. We process gages ranging from .5mm (.020 in.) to 8 mm (.314 in.) utilizing Compound Dies, Progressive Dies and Modified Form Stamping Dies.

When it comes to a nut or bolt, we have the expertise to handle almost all applications. Currently, we work with nuts ranging from M5 through M24 and bolts ranging from M8 through M20. Typically, these products require additional outside processes. Our experts can handle your needs. Our expertise extends to additional products and processes such as:

This retention process for staking nuts and bolts to retainers has held strong when tested at loads up to 10,000 Newtons. That is more than twice the strength of a traditional Shave-Stake retention feature.
