 Our
team has multiple tools at their disposal to ensure quality is produced
in everything we manufacture and purchase. Some of these tools are:
- An integrated network system that is password-protected to
ensures every process is properly completed before materials can
move to the next phase of production.
- Our systems provide full lot traceability in addition to real
time and historical production data for highly efficient problem
resolution and root cause analysis.
- A sophisticated bar coding and labeling system allows PSC to
control and track the movement of any item from receipt through
delivery.
- CMM provides technology to accurately check tooling and critical
parts. When linked to real-time SPC, the CMM provides essential
data to aid in the control of the production process.
- High-speed vision equipment is used to inspect our products
for items ranging from mixed stock to 100 percent dimensional
checks.
- State of the art Torque Tension Testing equipment capable of
processing parts up to M24.
- Our QC lab also includes industry leading equipment for hardness
testing, internal and external thread inspection, and push and
pull force testing equipment.
In 2004 Progressive delivered in excess of 165 million pieces
to our customers with a Parts Per Million (PPM) defect rate of
1.65. This equates to a performance for our customers of 51.47%
better than six sigma standards.
